Welcome to the Mystere Colorguard website!
Mystere is the name of our colorguard. We're ranked #1 in the entire state of New Mexico and we're #2 in the area. We're a
section in the most awesome, fantastic, wonderful band in the universe- The Oņate Royal Knight Regiment!
So, it's time for Val and my LAST marching season ever!! We have lots of changes,
but the guard this year is fabulous and everyone's working super hard- we couldn't be more proud of them!!
Val and I are operating as co-captains and things are going really well. We have
2 new instructors :o( but everyone is trying to adapt so that our guard will be as much fun as last year.
This year our show is The Red Square, featuring 3 pieces by my favorite composer
(other than gorecki)- Shostakovich! Woot! the music is fabulous and everything seems to be falling into place.
First off- congratulations to our wonderful sabre line- Valerie, Scottie, Cindy,
Cassandra, Kaitlyn, and me :o)! We are oober proud of all of you- especially Cassandra, who has only been doing guard a SEMESTER.

our first home football game is a week from friday- september 2, so come
check it out, if you can! it's sure to be a fabulous hit.
